adidas Soccer Ball With Embedded Cameras Will Capture All The World Cup Action

This is one of the coolest things ever! Even if you aren’t a football (soccer for those of us that live in the US) fan, you have to admist this is truly unique and awesome!

The new World Cup football from adidas will capture the game from an entirely new angle, thanks to six HD cameras fitted inside a custom-engineered ball with handmade coverings. It’s called “brazucam,” and even stars in a series of videos captured from the ball’s perspective as it travels around the world.

adidas will release one film per week on its YouTube channel, counting down towards the tournament. You can also follow @brazuca on Twitter, where you will see its journey through countries that include Spain, Germany, Japan, and Mexico, as it moves closer towards Brazil.
