Nike Updates Pro Bowl Uniforms

by Rachel Baker on October 9, 2013

Nike has opted to drastically alter the look of Pro Bowl uniforms this year. This may indicate a trend for Pro Football teams.

The move away from the traditional outfits comes as the game takes on a new format. Instead of the AFC-NFC matchup that has been part of the game since 1971, teams will be filled by players voted to the game in a draft-style format. The two leading vote-getters will be named captains and will be assisted by Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders and two NFL.com fantasy football champions in picking the two teams.
